Construction
2026
Nestled within 60 acres of loblolly pine forest, St. John will be a new village rooted in tradition and designed for modern life. St. John draws from the enduring patterns of historic European towns: traditional architecture, civic and sacred spaces, incremental growth, walkability and mixed housing and building uses set in a natural environment. The project will begin with the design of a thoughtful master plan and a family social club that will anchor early community life. With a range of housing types for families, singles, and empty-nesters alike, St. John will be a place where life unfolds naturally, beautifully, and close to home.

Participate in the
Design of the Master Plan
A collaborative planning and design process will guide the development of the site plan and architecture.
Join us over the spring of 2025 as we hold one on one interviews, public forums and presentations. Your feedback will be implemented in the Master Plan designed by the architectural team.

The Design Process
(We Need Your Input!)
01
Discussions & Interviews
Every element, from the site plan to the architecture and building layouts, will flow from discussions with the community. This includes one on one meetings, group forums and surveys. The result will be an outcome based list of needs that will in turn instruct the design elements for the project.
02
Master Plan & Arch. Design
Referencing the design elements from step one, urban designers will create multiple master plans for presentation in a series of public meetings and feedback sessions. The best elements will be synthesized into a final design.
03
Engineering Drawings
Once the master plan and architectural style are finalized, technical drawings will be created by local civil engineers and architects. Along with these items, a utility and storm water retention plan will be created for review and approval by the county.
04
Construction
After technical drawings are ready, construction will start, including roads, utilities and the initial buildings. Construction is planned to include 3 to 5 homes and will increase to 7 to 10 per year as the project progresses.
